Picnic in the Park, Thirsk

A Charity Concert takes place in Thirsk on Saturday July 17th - Picnic in The Park in aid of Action Medical Research at Thirsk Hall by kind permission of Mr John Bell. 

Musical entertainment from the Backbeat Beatles, a tribute to the Beatles, with an appearance by Chris Tame from Pop Idol.

For the first time acts from Future Talent will appear on stage. Future Talent was established by the founder Duchess of Kent & the Headmaster of Kings College School, Cambridge Nicholas Robinson. Future Talent was established to further exceptional musical talented students aged between 5 and 18 years, where it would otherwise be lost. For further information see www.futuretalent.org.

Gates open from 5.30pm, starts at 7.30pm.

Bring your own picnic, Pimms bar available and a spectacular firework finale.
